In our first giveaway selling merch in a new format, we took a low mile Royal Enfield Continental GT and made some minor, tasteful mods to the bike including:
- A factory custom fairing, directly from Royal Enfield R&D (a lot of people asked us about this fairing and sadly it isn't available to the public -- we were very fortunate and thankful to get one from Royal Enfield.
- Blacked out fenders and wheels and polished parts. This bike originally came with silver wheels and fenders. Again, thanks to Royal Enfield with a set of each to swap them out.
- Custom paint from Jace Hudson at The Fastlife Garage in Waxahachie, TX. A classic gloss black treated with gold pinstripes to reference the factory gold pinstripes and details on the bike and to tie in the motif from Biltwell Gringo S helmet.
In the end, it was Jay from Illinois who own the bike. We not only delivered the bike to him at his home, we were about to coincide the presentation of his prize during the Distinguished Gentleman's Ride in Goshen Indiana hosted by Janus Motorcycles. Jay came for the ride, we presented the bike and then he got to ride his prize in the DGR itself before delivering it safely to his garage. Great times!
